StepMelon Community Guidelines
Effective July 15, 2026. StepMelon is for supportive progress with people you know. These rules apply to usernames, biographies, profile photos, groups, challenges, comments, and other member-created content.
Do
- Be encouraging and respect another member's boundaries and privacy.
- Share only content you have the right to use.
- Use reporting for genuine safety, abuse, impersonation, spam, or privacy concerns.
Do not
- Harass, threaten, bully, shame, stalk, impersonate, or exploit another person.
- Post sexual, hateful, violent, illegal, fraudulent, dangerous, or privacy-invasive content.
- Publish another person's health, contact, location, or private information without permission.
- Spam, manipulate leaderboards, automate abuse, evade a block, or create accounts to bypass enforcement.
- Use StepMelon Social if you are under 13 or below the digital-consent age in your country.
Safety tools and enforcement
Use Report on a profile or social item to alert the moderation team. Use Block to remove the friendship and prevent either person from seeing the other's social identity or metrics. Blocking is reciprocal for visibility; unblocking does not restore the friendship. We may filter submissions, remove photos or text, limit discovery, suspend or delete accounts, preserve necessary evidence, and contact authorities where legally required. We prioritize credible threats and child-safety reports.
For moderation help, email support@stepmelon.app. Include the username, what happened, and when; do not resend illegal content.
